Today, many public and private organizations demonstrate a high level of management and leadership, and Amazon is one of the best examples in the business field. Its founder, Jeff Bezos, has already proved himself an effective and mature leader who could achieve multiple goals and properly motivate many people with different backgrounds and skills. There are many reasons to believe Amazon shares excellent performance, policies, and culture, addressing its social impact in creating jobs, offering services worldwide, investing in innovation, caring for the environment, and developing professional skills.

I believe that a variety of factors can measure management and leadership professionalism, but performance outcomes and offered policies remain integral in this analysis. At the global level, Amazon now employs about 1.3 million people, and in the United States, one out of every 169 employees works for this company today (Glaser, 2021). It is not a regular organization that offers some services and sells products but a solid example of a multinational technology company that succeeds in e-commerce, artificial intelligence, and cloud computing. At the same time, Amazon shares upskilling commitments through free education and training programs to ensure that employees improve their knowledge and grow. On average, all employees are paid $15 an hour if they complete their responsibilities and functions properly (Glaser, 2021). Equal employment opportunities, anti-discrimination ideas, and safe environments also attract people.

Another aspect that makes me choose Amazon as one of the well-run companies is its culture. On the one hand, all customers get access to 24/7 support and can place orders across the globe. Today, it is possible to buy various products, from books to office supplies and learn the characteristics of every subject in a convenient and informative way. On the other hand, Amazons corporate culture empowers every employee. Some people could find leadership decisions harsh and demanding, but it is the only way to organize so many people and make them achieve some progress. It is expected for an employee to follow the principles of transformational leadership, like customer orientation, innovation, commitment to excellence, and long-term thinking. The goals are set, the outcomes are analyzed, the evaluations are offered, and the decisions are made. As soon as a person joins the team, he/she learns the basic rules and does everything possible to meet the companys expectations. If the work is properly done, financial benefits are obtained.

Finally, the success of Amazon directly depends on what social impact the company has on Americans and the world in general. It is not enough to create good working conditions for people or offer reliable services and products for clients. It is more important to create a solid image and proves its correctness by taking meaningful steps and making sound decisions. In Amazons case, Bezos supports veterans, offers jobs to many military families, and takes care of the American homeless by opening a free shelter in Seattle. Programs for refugees, kid care, and environmental protection are also issues to be recognized and respected by the companys managers and leaders. There is no need to set some incredible purposes but take small steps with a significant impact.

In conclusion, it is correct to say that Amazon is not just a well-managed organization but a team of professional employees run by a successful transformational leader. Attention to customers, recognition of workers at all levels, education, training, and support are the elements that inspire millions of people around the globe. Bezos is a recognizable leader who has made Amazon successful during the last 28 years. The attempt to expand the idea of e-commerce through policies, culture, and performance was properly made, and this fact should be enough to choose this company for analysis and evaluation.
