After conducting an exhaustive search for all of the potential managerial internship opportunities in the city of London, I have come to the conclusion that the position as an Operations Intern in the Business Development at Carl Friedrik presents the most exciting job-prospect. The position is firmly in-line with my core mission of being fully immersed in my work from the day-to-day admin tasks to the implementation of the technology, management of operations, and ensuring the team is up-to-date on the latest tasks delegated, support, and improvement of processes required to make a business successful. I will bring my passion and energy to the team at Carl Friedrik every day in order to provide value using creative prospects and mediums in order to withstand and exceed your expectations in regard to beating project deadlines and ensuring online merchandising and logistics run smoothly.
I am currently studying Business Administration with a concentration in Management at Hult International Business School in London. I am a very proactive person and thrive in an ambiguous environment where I am tasked with diverse challenges. Over the past year, I have co-founded The Vertex Summit. Co-founding The Vertex exposed me to a very international environment, as it required me to work with young start-ups, professors, motivational speakers, and investors around the globe. That well-rounded experience has improved my corporate alliances and networking system which then helped me reach out to industry-leading companies that secured seats at the Vertex Summit this November. Throughout this time, I greatly improved my communication and people skills as I conducted interviews with many of the people whom are directly involved in trendy industries and have a different perspective than many others in the same field.
As the chief operating officer and co-founder of The Vertex Summit, I focused on designing and implementing business operations, intensifying social media awareness which helped us sell out on tickets for the summit (more than 215 tickets sold to Undergraduate Students). I also participated in expansion activities such as seeking for investments, establishing corporate relations, and securing sponsors. I have managed to do all of this while maintaining a GPA of 3.81/4.00 consequently being awarded the Merit Scholarship and the Social Impact Scholarship.
I still had energy and passion for what I was doing, so I went on to participate in the Hult Prize, co-founding Fostering Energy by developing and designing a business model of a sustainable social enterprise to harness the power of energy and transform the future of human lives. Lastly, I believe that with my ability to quickly learn new skills and concepts, coupled with my attitude towards being a highperformer, will directly benefit a growing company like Carl Friedrik. I look forward to hearing from you soon to further discuss the opportunity to interview for the Operations internship at Carl Friedrik.
