My name is Tharun and I was born on the 18 of December, 2004 in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. My parents were Suresh and Karolina. Both of my grandparents are deceased. My grandmother died when i was 4 years of age, at the age of 65 in 2008 from lung cancer which was the result of smoking her whole lifetime even though as a kid i tried convincing her to stop smoking but she wouldnt listen. My grandfather died at the age of 69 in 2010 from a massive heart attack right after spain won the world cup against netherlands 2 over 1, which was also the likely result from a lifetime of smoking. Fortunately I have been smart enough to avoid that bad habit.
My early childhood was a typical elevated class environment circa the 2009. My dad worked for Q-net as a computer system analyst and my mom was a jewellery designer. I had a joyful, normal childhood as an only child, leaving me somewhat spoiled. My grandmother and grandfather divorced when I was eight years old and both remarried within a year or so of the divorce. My grandfather remained married to my step grandmother until his death. My grandmother would marry two more times. My first grandfather Raghavan became a big part of my life and I maintained close contact with him until his death in 2010, two days after my dog died.Yes, that was a very bad week, losing my dog at the same time my grandfather.
Growing up with split grandparents was not especially difficult since each of my grandparents kept me out of their divorce and they got along fine at events where both of them were present. I lived with my parent until I was 16 and in high school. By my sophomore year in high school I had begun to hang around with friends that got me into a lot of trouble like Aaron ,with a number of things including not finishing my homework and eating in class. I was rapidly heading down a negative path, but was fortunate enough to notice it before I had done any serious damage. I moved in with my uncle and changed high schools and friends finally I wont get into trouble
With the fresh start I was able to finish primary school without further incident, and my dream was to graduate from Nobel International School High in 2020. Even with my questionable behavior earlier in my life I had always wanted to become a Radiologists surgeon which I could not do until I was 18 years of age. So I plan to kill time and stay out of trouble by joining a sports shop and working as a cashier at the same time i studied but I also thought of joining the army and which i was sent to Fort Benning, selangor for basic training, advanced infantry training, and finally airborne jump school. One thing that I am sure of is that it shaped me to become the man that I am now. The army would really straightened me out from my troubled teenage years. After that I am finally ready to study in oxford university. Fresh out of the service I waited on tables and did some bartending while in the long applicationprocess for registering my name as a student of oxford university. After studying i am finally ready to become a radiologist surgeon so I applied to Cleveland clinic which is the worlds best hospital which was in the United State of America, and I also applied to assistance hopitaux publique de paris which is the 9th worlds best hospital which is in france where my favorite football team is there.
My hope and dream was to be accepted by the assistance hopitaux publique de paris sadly cleveland clinic didnt want a radiologist surgeon due to numeral amount of radiologist surgeon they have. I was accepted into the assistance hopitaux publique de paris in 2025 leaving me as the youngest radiologist surgeon in france, all the hard work paid off as my grandfather told me suffer now and enjoy in the future it helped me a lot it made it much easier for me.
I was already known as the worlds highest paying radiologist surgeon. The only difficulty I had becoming a surgeon was that i dont have enough time to sleep this made me really tired and it also delay the surgery. I attribute this to my time in the medical school as well because I had learned to No pain No gain. During the time that I was in the hospital I realized that there was a alarm which will tell me if there is a patient that need my help, for almost 2 year i didnt realize that there was an alarm, I got really mad cause i didnt know that there was an alarm. Shortly after completing 150 surgery i finally became the worlds best surgeon, the world best radiologist surgeon and the world yougest surgeon.
I had everything, life was amazing but one day there was a patient suffering from a major heart attack there was not enough doctor to help this patient but i was a specialist in heart surgery so i was all alone with the patient i had no nurse because there werent enough nurse so i started the surgery and it took me 10 hours to complete the patient almost died if i wasnt there ,after the surgery i came out and people started to compliment me and they even raise my salary money from 330000 USD to 667000 USD it was life changing.
I asked my brother who is the ceo of a enormous building company so me and my brother planned to build a home for the orphanage it might have took 1 million to build a huge home for the orphanage but it was worth it after building the home i was amazed how it looked. It looked like there was 5 banglo all together. I had a dream before I die I would like to meet all the football player from paris saint germain. So that about it. This is my life.
All educators have a personal philosophy, whether its known or not. My philosophy has always been that anyone can learn, as long as there is a teacher willing to try. As future educators, we strive to teach each student to the best of our abilities. In the following paragraphs, I will be discussing my reflection towards my education, goals, and inspiration as a future educator. Also, I will be debriefing the belief of what I think my philosophy was vs where the survey philosophy put me in.
Reflecting back on my education I noticed that it varied between teachers I worked well with and the ones I did not. Theyve ranged from an array of teachers, professors, and even some tutors. One of the many things that made learning easier for me has been having a willing teacher. A teacher who doesnt just say what I can and cannot achieve. I can specifically remember a professor who taught the material just by memory and never followed his own lesson plans. I remember feeling extremely overwhelmed and defeated. Even after creating study guides, study groups, and even speaking to the professor our philosophies never matched up. Although I have experienced education in ways that didnt work for me, I have also experienced many that did. I can recall an amazing teacher, mentor, and now friend Mrs. Burton. She was able to work with me, encourage me, and not allow me to give up on myself. She was able to break down the information into steps. I now realize that her authenticity and creative approach to guide me was the breakthrough I needed. What inspires me? Inspiration comes from my surroundings. Im inspired by all the students that Ive had the privilege of working with. Not only have these students been overlooked and passed by, but a lot of them have felt forgotten by others. I work with all educationally delayed students and they inspire me. Teaching with authenticity and vigor has always been an important aspect of the way I try and communicate with students. Authenticity is extremely important for me as a teacher. Being genuine and modeling trust can significantly help establish a successful learning environment and maintain a collaborative climate in the classroom.
I thought I knew which category I would fall into according to the What is your educational Philosophy survey?. I assumed to fit into the Existential category but ended up in the Progressivism category with a score of 32. In other words Rather than focus on content or on the teacher, Progressivists believe that education should be student-centered, focused on active participation, questioning, and experimentation. Other characteristics of this philosophy include shared decision making about curriculum, democratic processes, and academic freedom. ( Sadker, 1997) I looked through the questions and realized I wouldnt change the outcome. I agree, as educators, and we are here to provide an understanding and cohesive class based on student needs. A class that also allows the student to have the ability to have some input. I agree with the process of academic freedom and a new way of explaining information. &progressivism runs directly counter to the main thrust of educational reform efforts in the US in the early twenty-first century. (Labar, 2005) Its a new way of thinking.
In conclusion, we have talked about my reflection towards my education, goals, and inspiration as a future educator. As well as, comparing the belief of what I thought was my philosophy vs the surveys philosophy. In education there is no limit to the variety of ways to teach students. We must use our knowledge and experience to help future students in their understanding of the subject matter.
