We suggest that your 5000-word report will be in four main sections and that the word count of each might typically be:
Introduction (500-750 words): includes setting out the context, rationale, aims and a brief overview of pertinent literature already developed in previous programme Units. (If you are undertaking a literature based enquiry, then there is no need for this in the introductory section.)
Research approach (750-1000 words): In this section of the project you will develop your research approach into a cogent chapter, which will explain how you intend to find truth. Most important, as always is to link your research question and your objectives/aims to the thinking and methods you are making use of.
