My loyalty to the product or service provided to me is based on three things: quality, price, and service. If these three things are available in any product or service, they have a very large loyalty from me, whereas if two of the three conditions are available, my loyalty will be lower. Sometimes I buy a product because its quality is high, and its price is moderate, but the service provided by them is very bad either before buying or after, so this will be a barrier between me and a declaration of my loyalty to this organization.
While my loyalty to some products and services changes over time the standards that made me loyal are different. So the quality provided is different, and I have seen that a lot. Some products at the beginning of the manufacturing line are manufactured in the United States, and later after gaining some customer trust and loyalty, they change their industry, and their quality starts to be very bad. For example, my family and I used GE washers, and I did not replace it with any other washing machine, because I have a lot of loyalty to this company, but what happened when I recently bought a GE washing machine turned out to be Mexican, I hesitated a bit but I said to myself, I do not think this company will exaggerate its reputation and manufacture its products with bad quality and lose its reputation. So, what happened was that I persuaded myself to buy it, because of my brand loyalty. But after a few days, the washing machine was disrupted, and it was replaced by them, but as soon as it went on for several more months, it crashed again, and the faults continued until I was thrown into the garbage. Therefore I changed it, and I never bought anything from them again. This turned my loyalty to another company I purchased a washer from them, and the quality was very high, and its manufacture was from high quality too, a company called Maytag.
In one of my experiences, I was loyal to one of the world’s best-known brands for their high quality, competitive price and excellent service. But what happened was that this company raised their prices, which made me very reluctant to buy from them, because of the high prices. So, what happened was that I was able to solve that problem by purchasing from them only in the seasons of the discounts, so I became less loyal to them. I only visited them during the discount seasons, while for the rest of the year, I found a different brand that I could offset my needs throughout the year, and it has all the criteria that I am looking for.
In conclusion, I think that any company should not abandon the quality standards for any reason, while the price if there is a slight rise and gradually may be accepted by the customer if you explain to them the reasons, for example, due to high labor or raw materials and others. Also, the service provided to the customer should not be reduced in any way but must improve every time a step forward.
