Of all else, it is the driver of the competitive advantage strategy that makes Apple stand out. The key competitive differentiators of Apple are its integrated ecosystem and a continuous stream of innovative products fueled by brand loyalty. This essay will show that Apple’s approach to sustaining its position as a premium brand is underlined by its people resources, whose contributions to innovation and excellence are crucial for maintaining this selling point advantage. People have remained the backbone. How people work to thrust forward-thinking ideas has helped constantly sustain Apple’s market leadership. I have seen at other firms how people development and retention play a pivotal role in their competitiveness. Regarding Apple, the human resource strategy, right iring to retention, is indeed directed toward creating a culture of innovation and excellence (Ulrich, 2015). The culture will add to Apple’s competitive advantage as a brand and the leadership potential that it carries within the technology sector.
